We are excited to share some more fantastic news this week! We have received final approval for a Research collaboration with the City University of Hong Kong.
Our sister company, Farmaissance Innovation @ifarmaissance provides R & D support for our biobased leather alternative projects. Our Founder’s final assignment for the @cisl_cambridge , Unversity of Cambridge course “Business and Climate Change: Towards Net Zero Emissions” received a grade of 100%, and is the basis of this Collaborative R & D Project.
The Project is focussed on the Automotive Industry with a decarbonisation goal to produce a biobased synthetic leather alternative to meet the exacting standards of the Industry for upholstery products.
The aim is to create technologies researched and developed in Hong Kong, and to utilise at industrial scale the vast plant-based waste and regenerative agricultural resources available worldwide.
Collaborating with The City University of Hong Kong @cityuhongkong and The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textile and Apparel @hongkongrita and jointly funded by Farmaissance Innovation and the HKSAR Government Innovation & Technology Fund (ITF), we aim to fight climate change and embrace a net zero future.
